Raindrops on Anna Maria

It’s summer time in Florida and the first day of summer brought lots of raindrops to the island. Kim, her daughter Ashlee and her friend Amanda come to the beach to capture some memoreis. it’s their 7th time to the island in about 6 years and they decided to take a piece home with them this time. They came to the island because they love it, but they also are celebrating the girls graduation from high school. They are staying in a cute little cottage in Holmes Beach and decided to take pictures where they also got the beach; the north end. They like this spot because the sand feels like sugar.

There mother daughter relationship is so refreshing to see. They are super close and love eachother dearly. There is no tension and I’ve seen these two together for 4 of the 6 years they have beeen coming to the island. Every mother daughter should be so close. It was wonderful to capture a few of those moments for them and help them document their uniquness before Ash goes off to college.

Just as we were wrapping things up, the sky opened up and the raindrops were coming down. It was perfect timing. Good luck with shcool Ashlee and Amanda. I hope you and your mom stay close and all of you succeed in all you do. See you all next year.

Boston meets Anna Maria Island

We have so many people from so many places all over the world come to visit our island and I have shot many of their weddings. This one was different and special. Kristen McCormack and Michael Taubenberger came to Anna Maria after 10 years of courting and tied the knot. They brought their family, tons of friends from Boston and people from all over the world. i have never heard a crowd cheer louder or clap harder when the beautiful bride appeared and flowed down the isle. There was so much love and friendship in the air it was incredible.

EVERYONE was having a ball. Between pictures, I got a chance to chat with several of the guests and it was an overall conceses that both the bride and groom are people who are not only in love, but love the world as well. They have spent their entire lives helping others to take care of themselves and do better for the people in our world who are less fortunate. It was a so apparent that everyone there had a deep respect for the couple and their admiration for them flowed through the air. It seemed to me that I was amongst greatness. It was an honor and a true pleasure to share that day and be a part of two amazing people join their lives and families together. Congrats to Michael and Kristen Taubenberger! I wish you well and hope you have great success on all of your worldly missions.
